Island Scottish Country Dance Society |
Often referred to as the "Van Isle Scottish Dancers" our group commenced in 1974 and has operated continuously ever since. The Society was registered in 1979 with the specific purpose of encouraging the performance and practice of Scottish Country Dancing and to provide instruction in Scottish Country Dance.
We are affiliated with the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society, (RSCDS) headquartered in Edinburgh Scotland. Visitors are very welcome to attend all
classes located in and around Victoria. Classes are run from September to May and are held for Beginners and Advanced dancers. All levels are taught by energetic and dedicated RSCDS qualified teachers.
Socials are held once each month and a Ball Weekend in Spring. Our Newsletter,
The Island Fling is published nine times a year.
